Client came to me with an existing website that had various issues. It was hosted with GoDaddy.
- Slow to load (40 seconds)
- Running on a depreciated version of PHP
- Plugin bloat
- Out-of-date plugins/theme
- Possible malicious files present on the GoDaddy hosting hinting at a past hacked website
I suggested they move the website to my hosting and at the same time I can clean up the issues they had with the website. The website had been hacked in the past.
Their site is now on my hosting, loads faster, has been cleaned up and I saved them money on what they were being charged by GoDaddy.
