Starting in March 2024, website generated by your Google Business profile will be deleted.
If you had one of these auto-generated sites, you would typically have been provided a domain name ending in business.site. After March and until 10 June 2024, that domain name will redirect to your main Business profile on Google. After that date visitors to your site will receive a “page not found” error.
I found a few companies still using these websites and there were others that had a business.site but also a main website, typically linked from their business profile on Google. I suspect they had initially setup a business.site but then forgot about it after they got a proper websites built on an appropriate domain name.
