With over 7 years professional experience of designing, building and maintaining websites I can offer a wealth of expertise in this area. My first placement was with a niche market magazine publisher building new, and mainting existing sites designed to push magazine subscriptions. I have a BA in Product Design and the skills learnt whilst on the degree are transferrable to web design and development. Website Design and Development

You may have an existing site that you want to add more features to, such as content management or forms or you have just started your business and need an online presence. We can help. E-mail us with your specific requirements and we will be able to advise you on the most effective way forward.

Content Management

Having the ability to be able to change your website yourself allows you greater control over your online presence. You do not have to call up someone everytime you want to add content. The system we use has a gentle learning curve and is very easy to use. Once setup we can give full training on using it or if you are more adventurous we have some great learning resources here

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

There is no magic trick to reaching the No.1 spot on search engines. It takes careful planning at the outset and then persistence and some patience. We will make sure that your website has the right keywords and optimised on-page content at the beginning. We can then build on a solid foundation to make your website attractive not only to visitors but to search engines as well.

E-mail Marketing

Sending an email is a great way of keeping your prospects up-to-date with your product or service. We will setup the mechanism for signing up leads and manage the design and sending of your regular newsletter.

For managing websites I use CMS Made Simple which is a Content Management System (CMS). It is a mature piece of software and has a very active community. It is very search engine friendly out of the box and is highly customisable. Other tools include, phpBB, vbulletin, oscommerce.
