  • This little tip originated on http://www.sitepoint.com/article/tomorrows-css-today/3. It details a number of CSS specification changes that work in some of the modern browsers out there. All of them work in Firefox but only some in Internet Explorer. The one of most interest to me was creating rounded corners without the hassle of images. It works with the following;

    #sidebar {
    padding: 1em;
    border: 1px solid #333;
    /*gecko*/
    -moz-border-radius: 1em;
    /*webkit*/
    -webkit-border-radius: 1em;
    /*future proofing*/
    border-radius: 1em;
    }

    I have used this on the Popular Searches box on my homepage. I think it looks good and just needs the support from Microsofts' browser.
